Sexual Trafficking

Sex trafficking of young girls victimizes and enslaves millions of girls in our country, many right here in our community.  Men are the “pimps” and customers in this activity.  Yet, in our culture, sex trafficking is often viewed as a “victimless” crime or women’s problem.  But, because men are often the perpetrators, men have a responsibility to be aware of the problems and do what they can to end this epidemic.  The UUA has initiated a campaign to Stand on the Side of Love to bring respect and support to marginalized and victimized populations.
