NEW OFFERINGS

Movie Viewing and Discussion - Edie & Thea: A Very Long Engagement  -- Saturday May 11, 7:00-9:30 p.m. Dessert provided -- munch while you watch, then discuss  this inspiring documentary about a 42-year relationship between two remarkable women. Leader: Candace Ohannesian.

Family-Friendly Sharing Circle starts Sunday April 14, 12:30-2:00 p.m. Connect with other WHUUF families to create community. Meet on the second Sunday of each month for guided discussion and occasionally for outings. Children of all ages are welcome to come into the meetings with their parents or join childcare across the hall. Bring lunch items to share. Leader: Kath Axline.

Heartfelt Communication starts Saturday, May 11, 9:30-11:30 a.m. In this 4-session experiential workshop participants will enhance their personal skills as they practice communicating authentically with assertive kindness and grace. Co-instructors: Sulima Malzin and Kath Axline.

Money and More, Starts Thursday May 16, 2013, 7:00-8:30 in Forest Hall -- Six-week workshop on bringing your money management and spiritual life closer together. Class size limited to 15. Instructor: Linda Crouse.

Adult Sharing Circle meets twice a month on Tuesday evenings. Nurture your spiritual growth through candid discussions of everyday life. Facilitator: Rebecca Gammons.

Monthly Book Group, third Tuesdays, 1:30-3:30. For May 21: Two in the Far North, by Margaret Murie. Coordinator: JoAnne Nordling.

Covenant of UU Pagans (CUUPS) meets monthly.  Learn about earth centered rituals, one of the sources of Unitarian Universalism. Leader: Mary McGar.

Buddhist Group meets at 9:30 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month for discussion and meditation. Coordinator: JoAnne Nordling.

More Good Things meets at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month with a program to increase your sense of well-being. Coordinator: Rebecca Gammons.

 

IN THE WORKS

Welcoming Congregation, March 24-June 30 -- Events and activities to improve appreciation of gender identities, affectional orientations, and family structures that are not generally considered to be mainstream. Facilitator: Barb Hansen.
