August 27 & 28, 2010. The WHUUF Hoofers need one more volunteer to qualify for this year's Portland to Coast Walk Relay. If you can spare a few hours for the team, please contact karen.james3@comcast.net Join the WHUUF Hoofers Portland to Coast Walk Relay Team! -co-ed - all ages are welcome -team consists of 8 or 12 walkers -each team must have 3 volunteers to work at exchanges, etc. -course is 127 miles -each leg is 5-8 miles - each team member walks 2 or 3 legs -Cost per team: $888 - registration Spring 2010 (Additional costs include house rental, T-shirt, food, gas) -$75 to secure position on team. This year we have reserved a house in Manzanita for 2-nights. The team & volunteers gather for a wonderful Saturday night feast and fun. We head back to Portland after Sunday morning breakfast.
