One will run from 9-10:15 and the second will run from 11:00-12:15.
If you choose to come to the 9:00 service your child can take part in a large group activity.
If you choose to come to the 11:00 service, your child will experience the same religious education program they are currently involved in.
As much as possible, the two services will be the same and the familiar family service is a component of both. We have planned our children’s programming based on best practices from the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association) and other UU congregations as well as input from RE families.
First Service (9-10:15) • Large group learning experience • Curriculum World Religions • Differs from second service, a child attending both programs will have different experiences at each • We anticipate a small group at first, as numbers grows, so will our offerings at this service.
Second service (11-12:15) • Continue current groupings with same teachers • Preschoolers and 10-12 year old group continue year long curriculum • 5-8 and 8-10 year old groups use “Picture Book World Religions” to explore other faith paths • Youth group will only meet at this service
