Can't Find a Parking Spot on Sunday?
As you may have noticed, the parking lot gets pretty full on Sunday morning and the cops are apparently concerned about our parking on the street, although they haven't called me back yet.
Barb spoke with the Executive Director at The Scandinavian Heritage Foundation, 8800 SW Oleson Rd. and he's OK w/ sharing parking lots with WHUUF- they get crowded evenings and days sometimes, but don't do much on Sunday mornings. We're crowded Sunday AM, but usually have space the rest of the time- a match made in Unitarian and Scandinavian heaven.
This link (Map) will take you to a GoogleEarth view of the SHF parking lot, which is about 3 (short) blocks from WHUUF, southwest, towards the mall & Hall Blvd., with sidewalks all the way. As a marker, look for the bus stop sign right next to the driveway. Please be respectful of the SHF people and property, as I'm sure they will be of ours.
